Feedback

You could be reading your comment here...

I look very forward to receiving your e-mail and will be happy to post your feedback on this site if you allow me to do so.

When you write to me, please let me know whether I may quote from your message, and which name you would like to be quoted by.  Oh, and of course it would be great to know your location, too.

Apparently not all e-mail programs/providers will process the rather new ".eu" domain of this site yet.
I have therefore replaced the contact address and the new one should work reliably:
charity.triathlon(at)yahoo.de

If you prefer not to use your computer's default e-mail program (which will open by clicking on the link above),
you can of course copy and paste the address into any e-mail window you like. Just replace (at) by @ .

I apologise for the absence of a guestbook or similar feature - but I would be responsible for assuring civility and acceptable language in any such forum and I simply don't have time for that. (All that swimming... cycling... running... you know... :-)

Thank you!

Finally, I have found the time to sit down and respond to your wonderful site. As I have told you many times, I am in awe of your perseverance in such a daunting task. It seems to be not just "exercising" which I personally find dreadful, but a very real personal exploration of yourself by pushing your limits, finding your joy, letting your spirit soar. I envy that, my friend. I am currently writing so that I can avoid my elliptical trainer. It is a giant snail glaring at me with the resentment of one who has experienced abandonment and cannot forgive. I will grudgingly climb on its Venus-FlyTrappy limbs in a few minutes and then escape as quickly as I can. I find no joy in our relationship and its teensy gastropodic brain senses my repugnance. Fitness for me, is something done to avoid the premature clutches of death and perhaps to keep my thighs from turning into more mush than they already are. In any case, my point (and I do have one, I promise) is that my admiration for you is real.

However, is it too wrong for me to take just the tiniest bit of pleasure in knowing that for even just the shortest period of time, you were a floundering fish bashing the water with the clumsiest of enthusiasm? Since this is my regular "stroke" and I barely make it to the side of the pool in utter exhaustion after using it, I find it just a tad bit amusing that you experienced a small taste of my swim technique. Of course, I am glad that it was temporary and you have adjusted to a new style. I mean, after all , you have promised to rescue me if I am ever drowning, and I can't have you caught in a dilemma of what stroke to use when times a'wasting!!!!!

Take care luv...... keep at it........ and even if you don't win, you will always be a winner in my book.

The plight of women around the world, particularly in troubled areas of the world, has always been my preoccupation, so it was with pleasure that I donated to Medica Mondiale in your name. Thanks for introducing me to this great organization.

Hope your training is going well and that you have a great time in the Gay Games. I’ll be there in spirit rooting for you!

Congratulations on everything you've accomplished already, and good luck as you take on this new challenge. I'm sure that you'll be successful in whatever you attempt.
